Located along Peru’s northern coastline, Chicama is famous for producing what many consider the longest rideable left hand wave in the world. It’s not uncommon for surfers to paddle back to shore only to be picked up by a boat or taxi for the journey back to the point.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Beyond the wave itself, Chicama offers a laid-back fishing village atmosphere where surfing is the heartbeat of the community. Visitors can enjoy fresh Peruvian seafood, quiet beaches, and stunning desert landscapes that meet the Pacific Ocean.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
