With clean corners, multiple scoring sections, and plenty of opportunities for progressive surfing, athletes pushed the pace in every division under full WSL judging criteria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From powerful rail work to committed airs and critical maneuvers, the event showcased Canada\u2019s next generation alongside established standouts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">GromSearch &amp; Junior Divisions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">U14 Girls<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Teagan Sandvig dominated the U14 Girls division, posting a strong 14.47 heat total and creating one of the biggest winning margins of the event. Shiloh Page stayed in the hunt with a 12.40 total, while Snow Parisi and Mavi Terhune rounded out the final.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">U16 Girls<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Teagan Sandvig continued her incredible run by backing up her U14 win with another victory in the U16 Girls division. Her 12.67 total narrowly edged Shiloh Page in a highly competitive final. Westerly Wyton and Snow Parisi also showed flashes of strong surfing throughout the heat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">U18 Girls<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ocea Green delivered one of the standout performances of the competition in the U18 Girls final, earning a massive 16.20 total thanks to powerful surfing and excellent wave selection. Teagan Sandvig added another podium finish in second, while Shiloh Page and Snow Parisi completed the final lineup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">U14 Boys<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The U14 Boys final came down to the wire, with Gus Chong taking the win over Eddie Dyrchs by just over half a point. Sloan Zuck-Schmidt and Rufus Dyrchs both stayed active throughout the heat in challenging conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">U16 Boys<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tanner Sandvig put together one of the strongest heat totals of the junior divisions, earning a 15.10 to secure the U16 Boys title. Dusty Bruhwiler and Kye Sale kept the pressure on in a tightly packed final, with less than two points separating the top three surfers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">U18 Boys<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One of the closest finishes of the event unfolded in the U18 Boys final. Shea Bruhwiler claimed the win with a 15.16 total, edging Tanner Sandvig by only a tenth of a point. Tommy Zahalka and Dusty Bruhwiler also delivered impressive moments in a stacked final.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Open Division Highlights<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Open Women<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sanoa Passion Dempfle-Olin rose to the top in the Open Women\u2019s division with an impressive 16.57 total, highlighted by an excellent 8.57 wave score. Mathea Dempfle-Olin stayed within striking distance throughout the final, while Ocea Green and Luana Ferrari continued their strong event performances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span class=\"td_text_columns_two_cols\"><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Open Men<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Peter Devries posted the highest single wave score of the event a 9.60 on his way to winning the Open Men\u2019s division with a commanding 17.67 heat total. Reed Platenius finished runner-up, while Kalum Temple Bruhwiler and Tanner Sandvig completed the final.l<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Masters Divisions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Masters Women (40+)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Catherine Bruhwiler controlled the Masters Women\u2019s final from the outset, earning a decisive win with a 12.66 total. Shandy Kariatsumari placed second ahead of Kat Rosene and Ashleigh Drummond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Masters Men (40+)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Shannon Brown delivered one of the most polished performances in the Masters divisions, combining powerful turns and smart wave selection to earn a 15.83 total and the event win. Sepp Bruhwiler and Raphael Bruhwiler followed closely behind, while David Schiaffino finished fourth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Conditions &amp; Judging<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cox Bay offered competitors a playful but demanding canvas throughout the event, with both lefts and rights allowing surfers to link together major maneuvers and progressive surfing.
