From there, surfers can go on to compete internationally, including events like the World Juniors and even pathways toward Olympic qualification.<br>The event takes place at Cox Bay, May 8-10th 2026 and draws both Canadian and international athletes, making it one of the premier surf events in the country.<br>In each heat, four surfers compete in the water for 20 minutes, catching as many waves as possible. Each wave is scored on a scale from 1 to 10, and only the top two surfers in each heat advance to the next round. @ripcurl_canada Also, huge thanks to Robby Benn @bcrobby for these awesome shots the spray looks incredible.
