Sometimes, the best way to see surfing or even the coast itself is to take a step back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the south side of Vancouver Island, along the rugged edge of the Juan de Fuca Strait, photographer Robby Benn (@bcrobby – instagram handle) captures moments that remind us to slow down and look twice. It\u2019s a stretch of coastline where mist rolls through the evergreens, swell wraps around the headlands, and the light shifts by the minute.
